Uploaded all HURT Hawaii - Tantalus Triple Trek 50k photos. Intended to practice some rear curtain sync shots of the runners coming up Hog’s Back at 5:45am, but they unexpectedly changed the route this year. Usually they switch every year. So I caught them coming down the first loop. My Yongnuo YN-985s wasn’t quite strong enough, nor does the HSS work with my Sony a9, so those pics didn’t come out as planned. I also want to shoot a stroboscopic shot soon. After the mass of runners passed, I headed back uphill to the bamboo forest where I found the ideal composition for my “race portrait” shots.
